There are various ways of rping. Mainly there are two categories. The first is unplanned rp and the second naturally planned. To do the first you just think of a situation where your character might be set, post such a post and wait for someone to respond.
Planned rp has a plot or a thought behind it. To plan an rp you can either:
1) Think of a plot and for the rest do an unplanned rp.
2) Think of a plot and ask if people wants to rp that with you.
3) Find some people who wants to RP with you and think up a plot. Some tips:
a) Find a common interest
b) Find something in some characters background that you can play with
c) Find a character that in someway can bind your characters together
d) If your characters already know each other you can plan a prank and cary it out (Against a equally ranked or higher ranked character, but remember, a player who's character you want to prank might want to know in advance that you are going to prank the character.)
