History:

Freyja was born in a big middle-class family in Caemlyn, Andor. Her father was an admired blacksmith, best in the business, and her mother was a seamstress. Freyja had six older sisters and two younger brothers. They lived in a large house which included Freyja's mother's shop and father's workshop. When Freyja was young she could do almost anything she wanted because her parents didn't have time to look after all of the children even with the help of two nurses. Her mother and her two oldest sisters did teach her sewing and doing needlepoint, but that took only a small part of her time and she spent the free time playing with her sisters and brothers. When she got older, her parents hired private teachers to her and her sisters and they learned to read, do housework and how to be a good and respectful wife. They also studied history, mathematics and politics. Freyja enjoyd these lessons and got more and more interested in the world behind the New City.

When Freyja was sixteen, she married Liam Aldorin who was her first love. He was a loving and kind man man who would never hurt Freyja. He was from a middle-class family too and he worked as a merchant. He was often abroad but when he came back home to Freyja, he brought her silk, jewels and ivory. They were wealthy and they lived in a big house in the New City. Freyja had servants and enough money to buy almost anything she wanted. But this didn't please Freyja. She wasn't very adventurous but she did want more excitement in her life. She found it quite dull to wander around in her home alone with only the servants as company. She was a modest woman and it wasn't proper for her to go out alone, especially because she was so young, so she didn't. Even when Liam was at home it was as dull as without him. He appriciated the simple, peaceful life with his wife because he risked dangers when he was traveling.

Freyja was getting unhappy but she found a way to save herself from the creeping dullness. She started to visit her sisters. They had their own families too and some of them had children. Freyja wanted a child of her own but for some reason she couldn't have one with Liam so she contented herself with playing with her sisters' children. She visited them almost every day.

One day one of her sisters was pregnant and wanted Freyja to guess the sex of the baby. Freyja did guess the sex and she also told her that the baby was healthy and vivid. Freyja was stunned. She didn't know how she knew that and her sister was as stunned as Freyja was, asking how she knew. The baby was in fact a boy and he was very healthy and vivid as Freyja had told. Freyja was very confused when she noticed that when she was walking home once, she had run into a pregnant woman whose child will be born dead. Freyja knew it was true.

Freyja started to go out more often and look for pregnant women. Every time she met one she could tell the health of the baby. She could tell that one of her sisters was having twins and a servant of hers was pregnant before it showed. Freyja was still confused about her skill but she learned to live with it.

This new talent didn't disturb her life. Her husband still spent a lot of time away and Freyja's feelings for him started to cool, especially because he couldn't give her a child. But she was a modest woman and didn't do anything that wasn't proper. She was lonely. She found comfort talking to her sisters but that wasn't enough.

When Freyja was seventeen, she got bad news. Liam was killed when he was going to Tear. Freyja did morn for him but she wasn't even that sad. Freyja's parents rushed her to a second marriage, this time with Gare Aldorin, Liam's brother. Gare was independent, careless and hard, quite unlike his brother. Freyja never loved him but it didn't matter because she was finally carrying a child. Freyja's life di dn't get any better, it got worse because Gare wasn't only hard, he was violent. He would use his right to punish his wife in whatever cause. Freyja was often bruised because of him. Freyja still didn't mind as long as she could have the baby. It wasn't until Gare kicked her in the stomach right where her unborn child was and caused a miscarriage when Freyja realised his true nature. Freyja was terrified and she ran away in the same evening.

She went to Aringill and stayed in a local inn for five weeks. She had taken enough money to support herself for years. She wasn't going back. She earned a little money too by telling pregnant women about their unborn children. She was getting a little fame about that. One night one of her "clients" came to see her again. Freyja had told her that her baby would be fine but now her first child who was only five months old was dead sick. She thought that Freyja could help her. Freyja wanted to cure the child but she knew she couldn't and it was hard. Freyja would have given anything to heal that innocent little baby who could have been hers. The baby started to have convulsion and Freyja took him into her arms. Suddenly he stopped convulsing and was still and quiet. Freyja was sure that he was dead and was surprised to hear him babble. He was fine and Freyja was delighted. She had saved him and it didn't matter how.

Freyja left Aringill and went towards Far Madding. She thought that it would be a good place for her to start a new life. On the way she settled in an inn for a week to rest. There she met a pregnant woman and again told her about her baby. Freyja heard a gasp from the crowd and looked around finding a beautiful woman with an odd ageless face looking at her with round eyes. The woman led Freyja quickly to her rooms and told her she could channel. Freyja was stunned but not that surprised after all. She finally had a perfectly logical reason for her talents. The woman stayed with her for a while in the inn and tried to figure out how much Freyja knew about channeling. She told Freyja that she had a block like all wilders. She could channel only when there was a pregnant woman in the room. Nevertheless the woman couraged Freyja to go immediately to the White Tower for training. And so she did.

Her years in the Tower were quite peaceful. She found her love for books again and studied and read every time she had some free time. She got over her horrible past and learned to live with it. Her block was broken simply by making her channel in front of the woman she thougt was pregnant, but in fact carried only a cushion under her clothes. After Freyja realised that, she was able to channel whenever she wanted. She got better and better in her channeling and was soon raised Accepted.

As Accepted she was as hardworking as she had been as a novice and quickly learned to master Healing. She loved the talents she had and practiced as much as she could to make them better. She still studied and quite enjoyd spending time in the library. Almost as much as she loved spending time in the infirmary. She studied and practised and was very devoted to becoming as good as she could get.

Soon was the time of her raising and she was caught between to Ajahs. The Yellow and the Brown. She loved Healing and she loved studying, and both of the Ajahs were very inviting. She almost refused the testing to be Aes Sedai because she didn't know which one she would choose. But she didn't refuse and made it through the testing. She became Freyja Sedai, Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah.

After a few years of being in the Tower she started to travel. She Healed everything she could and learned more about Healing until there was nothing to learn. After polishing that talent to perfection she continued to work on her other talents. She continued studying in different libraries around the world. She spend twenty years traveling, Healing and gaining knowledge, and became very respected when she returned to the Tower. She was soon appointed the Head of the Yellow Ajah after the previous one had retired. She still tries to get better and better in Healing and every other ability she has.
