The Weak channeler example

Step 1)

We chose to make the character a female channeler.

Step 2)

We chose that her basic strength is to be 5.

Step 3)

Her flow affinities are:

Air: 5
Fire: 6
Water: 3
Earth: 7
Spirit: 10

Step 4)

She started to channel at 17. She comes to the tower at that age. This makes her total strength 17 - 17 = 0, 5 + 0 = 5. Her Total strength as she becomes a novice is 5.

Step 5)

It has been a while and it is time to look to raising. Now the minimum requirement to become Accepted is 10. This means she has to have spent at least 5 years as a novice. Lets say she did just that. Her current age would be 22, her total strength: 22 - 17 = 5, 5 + 5 = 10.

Step 6)

Now it has gone a long time still, a grand total of 50 years has this girl spent in the Towers despite the advice of her superiors. Her age is now 67 and her Total strength: 67 - 17 = 50, 5 + 50 = 55. She has reached her potential but will never the less not be raised.

Step 7)

The channeler has not been raised Aes Sedai but has been given two options, either she can go to the knitting circle and join their ranks or she can go back home to live out her life as she pleases as long as she doesn't break Tower law.
