General Female example

Step 1)

We chose to make the character a female channeler.

Step 2)

We chose that her basic strength is to be 38.

Step 3)

Her flow affinities are:

Air: 9
Fire: 1
Water: 1
Earth: 1
Spirit: 10

Step 4)

She is to be a wilder that started to channel at 15. She comes to the tower at 21. this makes her total strength 21 - 15 = 6. 38 + 6 = 44. Her Total strength as she becomes a novice is 44.

Step 5)

Now I have looked a head and I want this character to have half her training time as a novice and half as Accepted. I can calculate the minimum needed years easily: 61 - 44 = 17. 17 parted in half = 8.5, so lets make her years as a novice 8 (and 9 as accepted). We add 8 years to her 'current age' which then becomes 29. Then we calculate her Total strength: 29 - 15 = 14, 38 + 14 = 52.

Step 6)

Now it is finally time for this girl to become Aes Sedai, I previously decided that it would take about half the time for her as a novice and half as Accepted, but a lot of things has happened to this character during the RP's so that no longer makes sense. I decide to make the time longer, lets say 13 years as Accepted. This would mean her current age is: 42 and her Total strength becomes: 42 - 15 = 27, 38 + 27 = 65.

Step 7)

Now this character is totally uninterested in classes, learning to weave anything or the like, she is a mediator and keeps to politics and meddling. She doesn't grow further due to this.
